Dodge Challenger coupe

The future of Dodge's battery-electric muscle car is here, and it may be a bit more than just a concept. The Dodge brand is well-known as a manufacturer of V8 engines and gasoline-fed horsepower. But now, they can offer customers a battery electric muscle car. This is a great news for EV owners because electric muscle cars don't require rear-wheel drive, loud exhausts or gas-guzzling performance. Even though the presentation was almost entirely focused on electric vehicles, there was a tiny teaser to show what's ahead. The battery-electric muscle car was shown doing a burnout in the typical on-brand display.

Electric sedan EQE AMG

The EQE isn’t your typical electric car in terms performance. With a dual-motor setup and a range of 469 miles per charge, the AMG EQE puts out 617 hp and 643 lb-ft of torque. The AMG Dynamic Plus Package will give it 677 horsepower and 738 pounds of torque. The EQE can reach speeds of 149 mph considering it is an electric sedan.

Xing transmission connector

Xing converted a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in to an entirely electric car. The entire system from the battery system to transmission is Lego-like and can be fitted with any GM LS transmission. The motor generates 320 horsepower and could prove to be a prototype for electric muscle cars. Xing is expected unveil its fully electrified muscle car during the SEMA Show.

Maserati GranTurismo

The Maserati GranTurismo will become the first electric car. The new electric vehicle will be built at Maserati's Mirafiori production facility. It will feature cutting-edge Formula E inverters, lightweight multi-material architecture, and an electric drive system. Maserati's premium line of sports cars, the Maserati electric Maserati, will benefit greatly from the new electric Maserati.

Dodge's electric musclecar

The Dodge Charger was a strong contender in the muscle car market. It has held its own against the best. Dodge's place in this segment has only grown since the 1970 introduction of the Challenger. These cars are desirable due to their V8 engine power and appeal. So, when Dodge announced that they would electrify the muscle cars, fans had mixed reactions. They saw the potential to improve upon the existing muscle car models after seeing the concept car.
