A study conducted by Shaheen et al. Shaheen et al. found that male respondents were more likely than their female counterparts to use peer-to–peer car-sharing sites. This finding is positive, however there are legal concerns. These legal concerns could limit the growth of peer to peer car-sharing services. In addition, there may be an issue with gender equality in car-sharing. A peer-to-peer car sharing company might be able solve these issues.

Congestion pricing can be a viable solution to traffic problems, but it raises concerns for low-income drivers. Many of these drivers don't have alternative transportation options or are unable to change their schedules in order to use transit. Congestion pricing can be a cost-effective way to reduce traffic and make money. It may just be the beginning of a larger movement to charge more for driving if it succeeds. However, it is a great start in reducing emissions.
